GRWE seeks to place its dogs in loving, permanent homes as pets, currently operating across eight regions within England. The regional teams work together to home dogs and also raise funds and awareness for the charity. Volunteer Drivers have an important role by assisting in the transportation of dogs (e.g. to veterinary appointments) and/or the collection of donations for the animals, as well as helping to transport materials before and after events.
The role would suit a good team player, preferably with dog handling skills and a minimum of three years driving experience. Reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed by the charity.
• To provide a reliable transportation service for regional homing and/or events teams for dogs and/or donations and events materials.
• To observe GRWE’s transportation processes, in particular those relating to animal welfare and health and safety
