Are you passionate about supporting the great work that Abbeyfield does to alleviate loneliness amongst older people?

Abbeyfield Gloucestershire looks after 4 sheltered homes in the Cotswolds providing a home from home for older people. Their house in Cirencester is looking for committee members.

They are a not for profit organisation. Whatever financial surplus they make is put back into making resident's lives better.

They are passionate about providing affordable housing for older people to enable them to continue to lead independent lives whilst still being able to live in the local community.

Although committee members receive no payment other than expenses, you will experience the rewards of working with older people and witness life changing events.

The current committee is small and friendly and they meet every 6-8 weeks.
What are they looking for?

A working knowledge of business practice is very useful. They are looking for responsible and trustworthy people. Prior experience as a committee member helpful but not necessary.

Practical

Working hours are Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.
