Tenovus Cancer Care shops receive donated stock in many different ways, and this includes them collecting stock from supporters at their front door, picking up collections from local business partners and moving stock from one shop to another. All of this vital work needs to happen for them to raise more money to help cancer patients and their families.
Depending on on your volunteer location, duties may include but may not be limited to:
Delivering donation bags to homes in selected areas, collecting the full bags on an agreed day and taking this donated stock to shops and to the warehouse
Assisting the Retail team in moving stock between shops
Collecting donations at businesses where their ‘Donation Stations’ are located
Offering feedback to the Retail team on how to improve the collections service

For insurance purposes, if volunteering at their warehouse or to drive their Tenovus Cancer Care van you need to be aged 25 years or over to . Working hours are flexible depending on your availability, from 4 hours per week upwards. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.
