Abbeyfield Gloucestershire looks after 4 sheltered homes in the Cotswolds providing a home from home for older people. Two of the houses are located in Cheltenham and the others in Cirencester and Nailsworth. Each house can accommodate up to 7 residents and is supported by a House Manager and Relief Cook.
A voluntary Executive Committee oversee the running of the houses along with the help of a paid Administrator and Finance Manager.
They are passionate about providing affordable housing for older people to enable them to continue to lead independent lives, whilst still being able to live in the local community. Their homes provide a home environment and are designed to combat loneliness and isolation, that is so prevalent in today's society.
They are a not for profit organisation. Whatever financial surplus they make is put back into making resident's lives better rather than paying the dividends to shareholders.

The current Executive Committee is small and friendly and they meet monthly in Cheltenham, generally on a Monday during the day.
