Many of the people they work with want to keep fit and healthy but it can be difficult to stay motivated. Walking alongside someone new can help to make this a fun and enjoyable activity.

.By volunteering as a walking buddy you will have the chance to get to know someone new and spend time being active in the fresh air.

This role can be flexible to suit your availability, for example, you might want to go on a regular walk for an hour each week, or arrange to meet up with your buddy a couple of times a month.
What are they looking for?

They are looking for volunteers who enjoy the outdoors, conversation and being active.

You should be: friendly, motivated, interested in spending time with someone who has a learning disability and practical.


Working hours are flexible depending on your availability, from the range of Monday - Sunday in the morning and afternoon. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.

This includes accommodation at three sites in Ledbury and Gorsley and support for people living in their own homes in the community.
