They would like volunteers to undertake home visits to people who have applied for cash grants. The individual applications have already been reviewed and a decision made that a grant could be awarded, so the home visit is to get a little more information or to simply to check on circumstances to see if they may be eligible for other assistance.

What are they looking for?
Experience of contact with a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds is desirable
This opportunity is available across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, and is home-based with travel to individuals' homes. Working hours are flexible depending on your availability, however the frequency is ad-hoc and the minimum commitment is four visits per year. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.
