Complementary Therapy Volunteer  with Longfield (Hospice) (Ref: 1085)
Opportunity picture
To provide a complementary therapy to people with a life-limiting illness who are attending Longfield.
To provide one or more of the following therapies: Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Adapted Head Massage.
To work as a member of the Clinical Team, completing necessary documentation and giving appropriate feedback following each treatment.
To follow the direction of the Complementary Therapist and the Day Services Manager/ Day Therapy Lead.
What are they looking for?

All complementary therapists must be adequately trained and insured
Ability to work as part of a multi-professional team
Ability to work in a flexible, mature, compassionate and confidential manner
Commitment to following policies and guidelines drawn up by Longfield
Ability to give regular commitment of attendance to Longfield
Two years of experience of appropriate therapy


Working hours are Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.

When: Mornings/Afternoons, Mon-Fri
Age requirements: Over 18
