Opportunity picture
To welcome patients to the Day Hospice at Longfield and help make them feel comfortable
To help provide beverages and snacks for the patients throughout the day
To assist in the kitchen as required
To check and replace flowers around Longfield
To talk to and sit with patients, being sensitive to their needs and rights to confidentiality

Working hours are Wednesday mornings and afternoons. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.

About Longfield (Hospice)
Longfield is a hospice which provides specialist services for people living with a life-threatening illness in Gloucestershire. We provide palliative care, complementary therapies, counselling, and a range of out patient services in our Hospice Day Unit. We aim to meet the changing needs of the community around us and incorporate best practice in the field of palliative care.

The majority of our services are provided free of charge within an agreed plan of care.
