Activity Day Centre Volunteers  with Headway Cotswold Trust (Ref: 111)

Headway are looking for volunteers to join the existing team in supporting adults recovering from brain injury.

As part of the day centre team you will help the people using the centre to engage in practical, therapeutic and creative activities that strengthens their cognition, confidence and self-esteem. You will be supported by the staff team and other volunteers.

Ideally you will be able to give a morning, afternoon or full day on a regular basis. The centre is open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 18. DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering.
What are they looking for?

This role would suit positive, friendly and patient volunteers. Training and support will be provided.
