Riding School Helpers – Practical/DIY  with Cotswold Riding for the Disabled (Ref: 1124)
Opportunity picture
They have over 200 riders supported by around 150 volunteers every week throughout term time. All the riders are physically disabled or have learning difficulties/special needs and all receive positive help and a real boost to their confidence during their time with the group.

They are now looking for people to help with maintenance tasks to keep the premises in good condition.

This would include DIY and general practical tasks.

The riders range from 4 to 70 years old with a wide spectrum of issues and disabilities.

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 14.

It would be ideal if you can commit to a regular day, such as every Tuesday.

NOTE: They operate on a term time basis and there is just a skeleton cover over the summer holidays in the office.
What are they looking for?

Patient, compassionate and physically fit. No practical experience is needed as full training is provided, however it would be an advantage.
