The duties will involve helping to serve customers, sort and steam clothes and sort general bric-a-brac and books. You must be able to offer four hours each week and have a friendly and approachable manner.
What are they looking for?
A helpful, flexible and approachable person who enjoys interacting with the public and can work well as part of a team. They welcome applications from students involved in Duke of Edinburgh over the age of 15, however all other applicants must be 18 or over.
Working times are Monday to Saturday in the morning and afternoon, however the working hours can vary to suit your availability from four hours per week onwards. Applications are accepted from Duke of Edinburgh volunteers from 15 years old. All other volunteers must be 18 or over.

About Longfield (Hospice)
Longfield is a hospice which provides specialist services for people living with a life-threatening illness in Gloucestershire. They provide palliative care, complementary therapies, counselling, and a range of out-patient services in their Hospice Day Unit. They aim to meet the changing needs of the community around them and incorporate best practice in the field of palliative care.
The majority of their services are provided free of charge within an agreed plan of care.
