Sensory Gardener  with The Orchard Trust (Ref: 1148)

The Orchard Trust has a well-established sensory garden. For this role they would like a volunteer to join their existing volunteer gardener to help maintain the garden. They need help with weeding, tidying, planting and general upkeep. The site is also accessed by people with learning and physical disabilities so it is important that the volunteer will work alongside all visitors and people who are enjoying and participating in therapeutic activities.
What are they looking for?

An interest in gardening and plant knowledge would be an advantage
To maintain confidentiality
A willingness to learn and undertake training


Working hours are Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.

When: Mornings/Afternoons, Mon-Fri
Age requirements: Over 18
