About Gloucester Wood Recycling
Gloucester wood recycling (GWR) is a newly started 'not for profit' enterprise based in Gloucester City. GWR is part of the award winning Wiltshire Wood Recycling Community interest Company and also members of the National Community Wood Recycling Project (NCWRP). Theye aim to divert wood waste from Landfill and re-use as much as possible. The wood they collect is sorted, de-nailed and any rough ends removed. This wood is then able to be sold to the public, Schools, Community groups and the like. They also use this wood to make items such as Log stores, Play Kitchens, Planters, Compost bins etc.
