They are looking to enhance the Executive Committee by appointing a Buildings Trustee to lead them as they grow and expand the services in each of the 3 houses located in Cirencester and two in Cheltenham.
You will be joining a great Board leading an organisation of dedicated and skilled people who are passionate about providing affordable housing for older people. The position will involve producing their 5- and 10-year strategies for existing buildings, developing a strategy for new buildings (as part of a team), devising and implementing maintenance contracts for building work, painting, decorating, building services and gardening.
This is an opportunity for you to give a small amount of time while knowing you are making a real difference to the lives of older people and helping to alleviate loneliness. You'll be supported by the Executive Committee, have lots of fun, and get to spend time with their inspirational residents.

Their residents vary in age from 70s to 90s and enjoy life. For older people living in and around Gloucestershire, a home from home is provided. They are passionate about providing affordable housing for older people to enable them to continue to lead independent lives whilst still being able to live in their local community.
