Do you want the opportunity to support adults with learn disabilities in social gardening sessions? This charity is seeking a volunteer who will support groups during gardening sessions alongside the group's coordinator, enabling them to take part in different activities in the garden. Their gardening sessions in Gorsley focus on learning how to grow fruit and vegetables, composting and spending time getting to know the gardening group, and the people who attend courses on the same day.
What are they looking for?
This is an opportunity suitable for patient, social and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in gardening and working alongside adults with learning disabilities.
Volunteers must wear sensible clothing for outdoors gardening work, including sensible shoes and overalls.
