You'll be helping service users access 2gether Trust services and activities, at various locations in the County

This role generally involves collecting service users from their home, transporting them to an appointment or activity, transporting them back to their home and offering reassurance and engaging in conversations as appropriate.
What are they looking for?

You need interest in working with people with mental illness.
Ability to communicate with a range of people with diverse needs.
Patience, compassion and empathy.
Ability to follow directions.
Access to own transport, with MOT, tax and insurance.
Clean driving licence.


There will be a two day training/induction covering Safeguarding, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Information Governance, Breakaway and Conflict Resolution.
Volunteer expenses covered

Drivers over 45 years of age also have to complete a driver assessment with their Working Well team.

When: Mornings/Afternoons, Mon-Fri
Age requirements: Over 18
