Perhaps you were part of the Scout movement when you were growing up, and would like to help give this great opportunity to young people today; or, if you have no previous Scouting knowledge, you're a friendly person with 'get up and go' who enjoys a challenge.

Do you like meeting new people and working within a team? Come along and get involved in Scouting.

24th Cheltenham Scout Group is looking for Scout Leaders/Assistants to work with young people aged 10-14 years old. Scouts meet in Leckhampton, Cheltenham (during term time) on Wednesday evenings at 7pm - 9pm and also take part in camps and activities some weekends and during the school holidays.
What are they looking for?

They are looking for volunteers who are keen to help young people, and who are able to work in a team and give instructions.

They want friendly leaders who would enjoy a challenge and who like outdoor activities. It is not essential to have Outward Bound skills, but these would be helpful.

Practical

Training will be given; evening and weekend courses are available.

Induction for volunteers. Insurance cover in place.

There is parking and a bus stop nearby; wheelchair access
