Brockworth House is looking for a self motivated and confident individual to provide administrative support to a warm and friendly care home.
This is a varied role in which you will be involved in supporting the administrator with various tasks such as meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with customer enquiries, filing, photocopying and answering the phone. Brockworth House offers a fun and satisfying way to fill in spare time and meet like minded people, whilst supporting older people in the community and acquiring new skills and experiences.
What are they looking for?
You do not need to have any formal qualifications, however you should have office experience, be organised and have good customer service skills. You should have an interest in working with people, particularly the elderly and people with dementia and mental health conditions.
Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed. DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering. Disabled Access.
