Shop Volunteer  with Longfield (Hospice) (Ref: 1402)
 
Opportunity picture
Longfield Hospice needs volunteers to assist with the running of their Tuffley charity shop. Successful volunteers will assist with processing charitable donations, sorting clothes and assisting customers. Volunteers will also help with steaming clothes and cleaning and tidying the store.
What are they looking for?

Volunteers will be expected to be sensitive to the needs of others, and able to carry out their duties in a calm and efficient manner. Problem-solving skills, as well as flexibility and multi-tasking will be desirable traits, and honesty, reliability and discretion will be expected.

Practical

All new volunteers will receive a full induction, as well as any training they may require.

Volunteers will be expected to be able to devote a minimum of four hours each week to the running of the store.
