Are you passionate about young people and helping girls to reach their potential? Do you want to learn new skills, make friends and give something back to your local community?

Volunteer youth leaders are needed to help run meetings, events and activities for girls aged 7-10. By sharing your skills, you’ll support girls and young women to try new things, make a difference to the world, speak out about the issues that matter to them and have fun!

You’ll volunteer alongside a friendly and committed team to:

* Support girls to plan activities
* Run weekly meetings with girls aged 7-10
* Plan and coordinate trips and events
* Carry out a range of basic administrative tasks
What are they looking for?

Volunteers need to be energetic, enthusiastic and willing to try new activities. The role would suit someone who has, or would like to gain, experience of volunteering with young people while developing their administrative and event planning skills.

They are looking for someone who could give a few hours a week to help run meetings, events and activities – the role is flexible and can be arranged to fit around you.

Leaders and Assistant Leaders must be female and aged over 18.
No formal qualifications or prior guiding experience are required.


Must be female, Wheelchair access, Disabled toilet available, Volunteer expenses covered, Insurance cover in place, Training provided

When: Thursday evening
Age requirements: Over 18
