Online Research Assistant  with Naturewatch Foundation (VG) (Ref: 1426)

This role is home-based or office-based at the volunteer's preference. However, the Naturewatch Foundation would prefer if the volunteer could attend the office for familiarisation specific to Naturewatch Foundation and World Animal Day. If the volunteer would prefer to work at the office, they would be very welcome.

The Online Research Assistant will :
Analyse and research various animal welfare issues and write factual briefs for the rest of the team
Research various topics and update databases as required
Follow up on previous research in order to maintain accurate records
Respond to emails from the volunteer inbox
Any additional tasks would be agreed upon with the volunteer
What are they looking for?

Desire to improve the lives of animals
Willingness to learn about Naturewatch Foundation campaigns
Good IT skills, including search engines
Online investigative skills
Ability to retain basic information relating to regulations etc.
Attention to detail
Record-keeping skills (often using basic Excel)

Practical

Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

All volunteers will receive a full induction and any relevant training they require.
