Receptionist/Administrator  with Citizens Advice Stroud and Cotswold Districts (Ref: 1464)

Citizens Advice: Stroud are looking for volunteers to help with their reception and administrative duties on weekday afternoons in their Stroud office. Ideally you will be available for at least one afternoon a week.

This is a varied role and you will be acting as the first point of contact for clients attending appointments, as well as answering the door to other callers. You will also help answer the telephone enquiry line taking details from clients entering them on to our computer data base. Other tasks may include photocopying, filing and other admin tasks.
What are they looking for?

Receptionists need to be friendly, approachable, tactful and able to deal with different types of people. You need to have the ability to work in a busy, sometimes pressured environment and be comfortable using computer systems, and you will need to be able to maintain confidentiality about clients and their contact with Citizens Advice and be committed to the aims and policies of the Citizens Advice Service.


Volunteers will receive a full induction and any additional relevant training they may require.

Volunteer expenses will be covered.

Disabled access and facilities available.

When: Monday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon, Friday afternoon
Age requirements: 16 upwards
