The Orchard Trust needs volunteers to support the activity sessions at their centre in Lower Lydbrook. You will be volunteering alongside team members who will lead the session, either within an activity room or outdoors, and the topic could be cooking, art, craft, IT, or gardening.
Volunteers will also have the chance to help support service users over lunch, assist with their meals and drinks if required, or just have a relaxed and informal chat.
What are they looking for?
Volunteers must be able to relate well to people, be confident, approachable and fun. Traits like being willing to participate in a wide range of activities, being communicative and responsible are also highly valuable. Being good at time-keeping, willing to undertake training and maintain confidentiality are of utmost importance.
