Would you have a few hours to spare on a Tuesday morning to drive vulnerable people in the local area to and from a lunch? The lunch attendees often have little chance to leave their home for the rest of the week and so this opportunity can be very meaningful to them
What are they looking for?
The ability to interact with the lunch attendees is a necessity and patience will be required in helping members who need more physical help; understanding and extra explanation may be required for some of the less able members.
You would be required to drive a minibus from 9.30am for about an hour and then again at 1.30pm, but would be welcome to stay for the lunch if you would like to.
When: Tuesday morning
Age requirements: All ages

About St. Mark's Lunch Club (VG)
St. Mark's Lunch Club provides an opportunity for vulnerable people to get out and interact with other others, giving them an enjoyable and interesting outing and a nutritious lunch cooked at the club. They aim to make the day interesting and enjoyable by providing different activities each week: craft or simple gardening activities, quizzes and games, guest speakers and visiting groups such as choirs and bands (when elderly members can join in and sing). All attendees are frail and many have physical or mental disabilities.
