About Hope for Tomorrow (VG)
Founded in 2003, Hope for Tomorrow aims to alleviate some of the stresses and strains associated with receiving treatment for cancer via the provision of Mobile Chemotherapy Units (MCUs) to NHS Trusts.
The MCUs, which are owned and maintained by the Charity and operated by highly trained NHS staff, can travel five days a week throughout their counties to up to five community locations, and they have the capacity to treat around 18 to 20 patients a day.
There are currently ten Mobile Chemotherapy Units operating in Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, East Kent, Lincolnshire, Cornwall, West Suffolk & East Essex.
