Emmaus Gloucestershire are looking for volunteers to help prepare and process goods for sale on-line, and to support the logistics operation. Volunteers will assist colleagues by photographing, pricing and listing goods for sale on eBay and Amazon, and by ensuring the safe packaging of items sold.
What are they looking for?
Volunteers should be able to write accurate descriptions of items for sale, and have experience of using the web and email. They will possess good communication and team skills.
An induction and all relevant training will be provided.
When: Mornings/Afternoons, Mon-Fri
Age requirements: Over 18

About Emmaus Gloucestershire
Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work in social enterprises as well as a stable home for as long as someone needs it. The first Emmaus community opened in the UK in 1992 and there are now 29, supporting more than 750 formerly homeless people.
In Gloucestershire there is a home and work for over 30 'companions', as residents are known, who work full-time refurbishing donated furniture and household goods, which are then sold in one of five community shops.
