Could you support someone as they learn to enjoy technology as much as you do?
A number of residents find technology and getting used to social media an extremely daunting process. As a volunteer in this role, you would provide support and assistance, encouragement and some technical expertise. This would enable the residents to stay in touch with friends, whom they may have difficulty in seeing due to their disability, and to keep up with the latest news and events in their area.
What are they looking for?
Good general IT skills and an understanding of social media, and good communications skills. You would need to be confident, reliable and flexible, and have good time management skills.
Volunteers will receive a full induction, and any necessary training.
When: Any day/time
Age requirements: 16 upwards
