Lilian Faithfull Homes requires confident volunteers to support their activities programme.
They would like you to attend two Saturdays a month, from 8.00am to 3.00pm, carry out activities with the residents and help serve meals in the dining room. You would be welcome to choose your own skill or interest to share with residents.
What are they looking for?
The volunteer needs to be able to talk to groups of people and use their own initiative; some experience of working with people who have dementia would be a big advantage, although training can be provided.
Volunteers will receive a full induction and any additional relevant training they may require.
When: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon
Age requirements: Over 18

About Lilian Faithfull Homes
Lilian Faithfull Homes is a charity providing care, support and a ‘home for life’ to the elderly in Gloucestershire. Established in 1946, they have expanded dramatically and continue to look to do more throughout the county – there are now some 300 residents living in six homes.
They have remained true to the founding principle of the charity: a desire to improve the lives of others through care and dedication.
