Help bring a little bit of the Paralympics to Cheltenham!

This club includes a number of disabled throwers who take part in seated throws and they need help to move the throwing objects around.

You do not have to be involved in athletics in any way now or in the past to help.
What are they looking for?

The main opportunities will require the volunteer to be fully sighted and physically capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 5kg over varied terrain and wheel trolley's and throwing stools from storage to training areas (around 50 meters distance).


Although applications are welcome at any time, they are having an information/recruitment event at the Prince of Wales Stadium, Tommy Taylors Lane, Cheltenham GL50 4RN between 10.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday 16th September

Note: The location of the regular sessions moves from the Prince of Wales Stadium to Charlton Kings in Winter

Currently, the sessions are on Wednesday evenings but they hope to expand to other times.
