Driver  with Westonbirt, The National Arboretum (VG) (Ref: 1524)

Opportunity picture
Onsite transport is a new addition to the customer care service, and will be running three days a week for a three month trial period from 1 December. In this busy and fulfilling role you would help visitors to make the most of their time by enabling the less mobile to have full access to the Arboretum.

You would drive along pre-determined routes, helping passengers on and off the vehicle, and advising them on seasonal highlights, trail routes, events and of course answering any queries. You would also be responsible for the appearance of the vehicle.

Please note: The trial period for this scheme will run throughout autumn/winter and the first two volunteer driver training days scheduled are now full. However they are hoping the trial will be successful and that they will run the shuttle service on a regular basis. If you could be interested in getting involved, please still apply so that they can keep you updated on progress and hopefully future training dates.
