About Oxfam Shop, Gloucester
Oxfam is an international organisation working to end poverty for everyone.
With its millions of supporters, they tackle the big issues that keep people poor, like inequality, hunger and climate change, and they encourage us all to play a part in this, however small it may feel. Extreme poverty has been halved in the last 15 years and with continued effort, in the next 15 years, it could end for good.
Oxfam believes political solutions are also needed to resolve the root causes of poverty and create societies where individuals can be empowered, and therefore thrive. Oxfam helps spread the change required.
Oxfam's mantra is that it will always act, it will speak out, and it strives to end poverty around the world.
