Charity shops play a vital role in helping fund the work of Katharine House Hospice - and are a public face for the charity in the communities patients are from. Running a successful shop takes a good team of people working together. You will play your part by helping to sort clothes, arrange displays, talk to customers and operate the till. Working in this environment is a great way to become part of the community, to develop your skills and get retail experience which can be useful on a CV.

A full induction and training is provided.

About Katharine House Hospice (VG)
Katharine House provides specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting illnesses, supporting them and their families at their hospice and in the community.
Although they do care for people at end of life, they also offer respite care and support for symptom management and pain relief. As well as managing the physical symptoms of disease, the professionals at Katharine House recognise that people need provide emotional and spiritual support too. They can also help people to access the practical support they need.
Care is offered throughout the local communities of North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire. Whilst many of patients come in to the hospice, many more are cared for in their own homes, care homes or in the hospital.
