The Newent Association for the Disabled Charity Shop can be found in the superb surroundings of 'The Old Shambles' in Church Street, Newent and is mainly run by volunteers.

After day-to-day running costs have been paid the remainder of the money taken in the shop all goes to the N.A.D and is used to help run both Sheppard House and Dial-a-Ride and also goes towards special projects such as the recently completed Sensory Garden area at Sheppard House.

They are now looking for enthusiastic people to help support the operations of the charity shop. You would be helping to sort and check all donations to the charity shop, to price items, steam clothes, helping customers find what they want, operate the till and also to keep the shop tidy.

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age limit for this opportunity is 16.
