Cheltenham Hospital Ambassador  with Carers Gloucestershire (Ref: 231)

Opportunity picture
Carers Gloucestershire is an independent carer led charitable organisation, that seeks to empower carers across the county to promote their rights and enable them to make positive choices to improve the quality of their lives.

Many people who look after a loved-one do not know that free help and support is available to them regarding their caring. Our Hospital Ambassadors go into Cheltenham General Hospital once a month to let carers know that help is available. They 'man' a display stand and also actively approach people they think may want to know about services.

If you want to help people in need of support and enjoy meeting people this may be for you!

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 16. Disabled Access. DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering.
