General Helper  with Gloucestershire Chinese Resource Centre (GCRC) (Ref: 438)

Do you have experience with working with the elderly? Do you have a caring nature?

Gloucestershire Chinese Resource Centre is now looking for someone to help assist them on a Monday and the last Saturday of every month.

As a general assistant you will be helping set up tables and chairs for GCRC's luncheon club and coffee mornings, talking to the customers to make them feel welcome, washing up and helping to clear away after the event.

Training will be provided.

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 18. DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering. Disabled Access.
What are they looking for?

Caring personality .
Prior experience working with the elderly is desired but not essential.
Good organisational skills.



When: Monday morning, Monday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon
Age requirements: Over 18
