For some, volunteering is a fun and satisfying way to fill in spare time and meet like minded people. For others it is a way of contributing to the welfare of older people in their local community. Many find themselves acquiring interests and skills that might never otherwise have surfaced, and friendships formed can be enduring.

Do you have a few hours free? Would you be willing to help give the best possible care to the residents of MHA? Then maybe you could help.

MHA are looking for volunteer carers to help take care of the general day to day needs of individuals with Dementia, you will be befriending, helping to assist with activities, helping the carers with feeding and taking part in similar duties.

Are you helpful, caring and passionate about the well-being of vulnerable adults? Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of others? Then what are you waiting for?

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 18. DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering. Disabled Access.
What are they looking for?

No formal qualifications are required, but you should be caring, able to use your own initiative, hard working and entusiastic.
