The Newent Association for the Disabled operates a number of specialist transport services.

They offer door-to-door transport for the disabled and elderly/frail who may have difficulty using public transport or travelling by car.

They are looking for someone who is 25 and over and has a clean driving license to drive one of their mini buses for their transport services operating throughout Newent and the surrounding areas.

As a driver you will be assisting those who can't travel by car attend hospital/doctor appointments. You will be responsible for the health and safety of all passengers on the bus and will be helping the from their homes, and with boarding the vehicles.

Full MiDAS minibus training will be provided.

CRB checks are carried out, however having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering.

Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 25.
