Hop Skip & Jump centres are play and support centres for children with a life threatening illness, or special needs and their families.
Hop, Skip & Jump are now looking for someone to help supervise the children at the centre during the day. This involves ensuring that they are safe at all times, helping to set up and close down the centre at the beginning and end of shifts.
Volunteers from all age groups are welcomed, however the minimum age for this role is 18. DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering. Disabled Access.
What are they looking for?
An open, friendly person who is able to work within a team.
Volunteers will receive a full induction and any additional relevant training they may require.

About Hop Skip and Jump Cotswold
Since its launch in Cheltenham in 1982, Hop Skip and Jump has been providing immediate and flexible respite care to children with disabilities and special needs, giving families and carers much needed time off.
There are five other centres in the UK, but here they are able to cater for up to 60 children a day, providing a variety of play groups and activities for them to engage with, indoor and outdoor play facilities, all with an emphasis on self-development and discovery.
