Practical Volunteers  with REACH Gloucestershire (Ref: 619)
Opportunity picture
Do you enjoy gardening, painting and generally getting stuck-in to practical tasks?

REACH Gloucestershire carry out community-based work across the county. REACH are looking for volunteers to join their existing team who are supporting community projects by carrying out practical tasks. Each day is different; they could be taking part in conservation work one day or painting and renovating a Scout hut the next.

This is really easy access volunteering ideal for those needing flexible volunteering. This is a great way to keep fit and active and be part of a team.

Transport is provided by REACH who collect volunteers in central Cheltenham at 8.30am and drop back at 4.30pm. If you do not have your own safety boots REACH may be able to lend you some. Volunteers should come in clothes suitable for practical work and bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks are provided throughout the day.

Volunteers must be aged 18 and over. This role is suitable for those looking for one-off, short term or long term volunteering.
What are they looking for?

No previous experience is needed, you should enjoy working as part of a team.

REACH collect volunteers from a point in central Cheltenham.

When: Variable times
