Tea Room & Kitchen Volunteer  with Woodchester Mansion Trust (Ref: 729)

The tea room is supervised by the Mansion Catering Manager. Volunteer duties include:
- Assisting with preparation of food and drinks in the kitchen
- Assisting with serving food and drinks to the public
- Operating the till and cash handling
- Clearing tables where needed, assist with washing up and using a dishwasher
- Maintain a tidy and functional food preparation area, including cleaning at start and end of the day

Volunteers will work alongside an existing volunteer until they are confident of carrying out tasks individually.
What are they looking for?

Outgoing, friendly and versatile volunteers are needed for preparing and serving food, operating the till, clearning tables and washing up in the Mansion tea room.


Whilst the Woodchester Mansion is shut from the 31st October to the 6th December, events happen all year, including weddings, theatre, and private parties, for which volunteers interested in this opportunity are still required.

When: Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning, Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon
Age requirements: 16 upwards

Woodchester Mansion is an unfinished Victorian Gothic house located in Woodchester Park. It is open to the public 6 days a week from Easter to end October and needs to attract lots of visitors to the house.

The Trust undertakes ongoing restoration/repair of this unique Mansion.

They also run events such as theatre and music performances, exhibitions and bat walks.
