Thursday Night Skate Park Youth Worker  with The Rock (Ref: 739)

Scoot And Skate (SAS) happens once a week during Thursday evening. The Rock hall is transformed into an indoor skate-park, with mobile ramps. Sessions are open to all young people in school years 6 - 13 and both beginners and those wishing to learn new skills or perfect current ones are welcomed.

Skate night youth workers are needed to be on hand during sessions to engage and build relationship with the young people, and also help pack down at the end of the session.

Volunteers may choose to get involved on a weekly, two weekly or monthly basis.

No formal skills are needed as The Rock's skilled Youth Workers are experienced with working with young people and are on hand to offer advice and support.

What are they looking for?

This role is suitable for people with a good technical knowledge in either skating, skateboarding or free running. You do not need previous youth work experience as training and support will be provided.


They have disabled access.

DBS checks are carried out; however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering
