Assisted Vehicle Drivers  with Longfield (Hospice) (Ref: 869)

Do you enjoy driving? Would you be happy to drive an assisted vehicle suitable for wheelchair users? Would you like to help people with a life-limiting illness? We are looking for volunteer drivers who would be able to drive people who are wheelchair users to and from their appointments at Longfield Hospice, Minchinhampton. You would be using Longfield's assisted vehicle to provide the transport. Full training will be given.
What are they looking for?

New Volunteer Drivers must be under the age of 75 and in possession of a full clean driving licence. You need to be flexible with regard to driving commitments.

The task of a volunteer is to provide safe transport to and from Longfield ensuring patients are shown due care and empathy. You will be expected to attend relevant meetings/training courses for volunteers.


Working times are Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed. Volunteers must be between 24 years and 74 years old.
