ICT Volunteer  with Vision 21 (Ref: 899)

They are looking for a volunteer to administer support to all IT services (including the Network, PCs, Laptops, printers, mobile phones) and the website. Other tasks include visual media, social media, graphic design, and software/hardware repair work.

The volunteer would also be responsible be maintaining the website (Word Press). The volunteer would need knowledge of updating text and images to the website. They would need to have understanding of HTML and any necessary coding. New pages would need to be added and old pages removed. A general understanding of all the main aspects of Word Press is required and the ability to alter any necessary graphics.

The volunteering would be based predominately at the Vision 21 office but there may be occasions when IT support work is required at their Reclaim warehouse on the Lansdown Industrial Estate, near Cheltenham train station. Advance notice would be given.

There may be an opportunity for some of the tasks to be completed remotely.

The hours and days are not set and there is scope for flexibility.
What are they looking for?

General IT experience including PCs, laptops, printers, mobile phones, Networks, software and hardware repair work. Experience with website maintenance especially Wordpress.


Working times are flexible to suit your availability, however would be within the framework of office hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed.
