Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust
About this volunteer-involving organisation
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust was founded in 1961 by a group of volunteers, led by Sir Peter Scott, who recognised that local wildlife was under threat. Since that first meeting, 50 years ago, the Trust has grown and now has over 500 active volunteers.
As they continue to protect wildlife and expand their areas of wildlife protection they are always in need for more volunteers to not just help on their nature reserve but engage with local communities through events and fundraising.
